Desarrollo de un sistema BI Inteligencia de Negocios para la toma de decisiones gerenciales: Caso práctico empresa CTLSPORTS

Abstract

Business intelligence is a discipline that allows companies to make decisions based on the analysis of historical information of their processes. Thus, the footwear company CTLSports has decreased its sales and is unable to identify alternative solutions; to mitigate the above, it is proposed to develop a BI system for management decision making in the sales area for this field research was applied which allowed to identify the needs of the company; in the development of the BI solution, the Model View Controller architecture and free software tools are used; For the decision making process, the Kimball methodology was used with the Power BI tool, generating an ETL from a database; as a result, interactive reports were obtained for the visualization of the data by the interested parties, which was a contribution for the management decision making process through the identification and elaboration of the company's sales indicators.
