Registro administrativo de las jefaturas de migración en el Ecuador

Abstract

The objective of this research work was to establish an analysis of the administrative record carried out by the migration headquarters in Ecuador with the purpose of knowing the circumstances that motivate the migratory flow at a local and international level as well as its consequences. The methods used in the investigation were qualitative and quantitative; the review of documents and reports related to the object of study was established as a starting point, until obtaining results represented in tables and statistical graphs, with percentage expressions and interpretations, related to Ecuadorian entries by country of origin, Ecuadorian departures by country of destination, entries of foreigners by country of origin, departures of foreigners by country of destination, entries and exits of Ecuadorians and foreigners, according to the canton of location of the Immigration Headquarters and transportation route, general migratory flow and migratory balance, departures of Ecuadorians by sex, according to travel reasons, arrivals and departures of Ecuadorians according to month, occupational group and age; between the years 2019 - 2021. According to the above, people move for different reasons to different geographical places, the migratory flow of foreigners entering Ecuador is very significant; hence, migration brings with it aspects of interest that mainly influence social, economic and demographic issues.
