El fanatismo y el consumismo en TikTok: Una exploración a la presencia de una red social emergente, en la sociedad actual

Fanaticism and consumerism are relevant topics as they are part of trends that emerge from popular culture in the digital era. For this reason, this article aims to identify the impact of these phenomena on user behavior. So, the mixed methodology allowed a theoretical-empirical analysis to reach an overview of the social and cultural processes that arise between users and society; and to collect data on the social networks of people's preference. In this sense, the dark side of the networks is presented, without denying their advances in communication, cultural diversity, interpersonal relationships, including contributions in education. Therefore, it is evident that popular figures influence the criteria of the youngest, being the video format the most attractive content for 60% of them.
