The present research aimed to analyze the relationship of the work environment in the teaching performance of the staff of the Vicente León Higher Technological Institute of the city of Latacunga, it was a descriptive research, not experimental, through surveys applied to teachers the data required for research was collected by means of validated instruments , for the work environment the Litwin and Stringer test, while the Teaching performance the Gonzales Carpio test adapted by the author, by means of a regulated probabilistic sampling was considered to all the teaching staff, the results obtained show that the work environment is related to the performance of teachers , concluding that the dimensions of work environment that correlate with those of teaching performance are: identity with responsibility, labor conflicts with efficiency and support with teamwork, aspects in which work must be done for optimal performance of teaching staff.
