The popular solidarity economy: participation and empowerment of the artisan women of the cooperative "Puertas del Cielo" in times of the covid-19

This article proposes to make visible the participatory action of artisan women in the national financial system, being the third productive sector of the Popular Solidarity Economy, they are the ones who sustain the family, local and national economy. This study reports on a qualitative-narrative analysis carried out in the artisan cooperative "Coproarpu" Puertas Del Cielo” Artisan Production Cooperative, by professionals and students of the American College Higher Technological Institute of the Cuenca-Ecuador canton during the pandemic period and post Covid-19 pandemic. In a first moment we dedicate ourselves to retaking the life experiences of the leaders of an organizational, associative, identity and empowerment type, in a second moment we consider from the collective to carry out a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) giving relevance to the organic participatory aspect and associativity from the territories of artisan women as pioneers of the Popular Solidarity Economy.
