Abstract

Humanity is living one of the most shocking moments in the history of journalism, a highly globalized world Consequently it is important to identify the dependence on digital convergence as a source of generating new alternative business models. that is accentuated in the local context and that controls the continuity of periodic and communicational activities. The recover to interest a valuation of content on information COVID-19 by means of the users who consume traditional media on digital platforms and to propose an ideal business model for the newspaper La Gaceta. For the development of the investigation, we used a survey of undergraduate students and interviews with traditional media coordinators and the province of Cotopaxi Ecuador.  The results show in the context the profiler off platform users who report periodically.
